Honor is preparing to add a new model to its MagicPad series, which continues its presence in the tablet market, at the end of this month. Expected to be released after the MagicPad 2, which was introduced in July last year, the MagicPad 3 will come with important updates in some areas and offer a noticeable change in screen technology.
Honor MagicPad 3 does not come with an OLED panel
According to information from China, the 12.3-inch OLED screen used in the previous model will be replaced by a 13.2-inch LCD panel this time. The LCD preference, which falls behind the advantages such as high contrast, vivid colors and energy efficiency offered by OLED screens, seems to be a decision taken in order to reduce costs.
MagicPad 3 draws attention with its technical hardware. The device is expected to be equipped with Qualcomm’s high-end mobile processors, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. This chipset will enable the tablet to provide serious power in both performance and AI-based operations.
The processor will be accompanied by up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1 TB of storage options. These features make the tablet a powerful alternative not only for media consumption, but also for professional work, graphic design, gaming and multitasking scenarios.
It is also stated that the large battery can be charged in a short time thanks to the 66W wired fast charging support. In terms of design, it was stated that the MagicPad 3 will come in three different color options: Moon Shadow White, Floating Gold and Starry Sky Gray. It seems that Honor aims to offer a larger screen and performance-oriented tablet without compromising on aesthetics in this model.
No official statement has been made yet regarding the pricing of the device. So what do you think about this device? You can share your opinions with us in the comments section below.
